Proud grandfather of Amanda and Ethan Schultz, Mark and Mitchell Hardin, Rebecca and Jacob Schultz and Joelle Schultz. Great grandfather of Charlie and Max Hardin and one on the way. Dear brother of Les (the late Mary Ellen) Schultz, Jane (Tom) Barta and the late Mary Lou Schultz. Passed away March 25, 2019. John was a creative individual that could figure out how to put a square peg into a round hole. He enjoyed a challenge and would try anything that he had an interest in, especially ham radio. His creativity allowed him to have many patents (he was very proud of these). He served his country as a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 1 at 9:30 AM at St. Gertrude Church, 7630 Shawnee Run Rd., Cincinnati 45243, where friends will be received from 8:30 AM until time of Mass.
