John Anthony Schmidt of Loveland, OH, passed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 68. John was born in Cincinnati, OH, on January 30, 1956 to the late Charles and Jean (nee Schmitz) Schmidt.

John was married to the love of his life, Sharon (nee Hacker) Schmidt, for 44 years. He was blessed with eight siblings, Nancy Kramer, Charles Schmidt, Rick Schmidt, Anita Chandler, Cindy Spencer, Thom Schmidt, Mark Schmidt, and Andrew Schmidt. John is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

John retired after 25 years from Deluxe Check Printers. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a talented musician and composer. He gave generously of his time and expertise to his friends and family.

Friends will be received on September 20, 2024, from 10:30-11:30am at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. A memorial service will begin at 11:30am.
