John L. Sandlin Jr. of Maineville, OH, passed away on November 15th, 2022, at the age of 41. Beloved husband of 17 years to Heidi (nee Bimschleger) Sandlin. Cherished son of John and Diane Sandlin. Dear brother of Tammy (Tony) Phelps, Melody Sandlin, Peggy (Jeff) Peck, Wendy Courtney, Carol (Mark) Thomson, and Rhonda Courtney. Dearest son-in-law of Dave and Peggy Bimschleger. Loving brother-in-law of Megan (Simon) Buchman. Proud uncle of Chris, Alicia, Amber, Mat, Josh, Jordan, Kendal, Kyle, Ashley, Kevin, Sam, Lucy, and Clara. John was an avid sports fan. He loved to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals & Cincinnati Reds! No matter how good or bad they were he was always their #1 fan every season! He enjoyed being a professional chef and his cupcakes, pulled pork, and chicken alfredo were just a few of his claims to fame. John was a collector of many things, but his favorite was his Nike shoe collection that just kept growing! He could never have enough shoes! He and Heidi loved to travel and saw so much of the world together. It was his dream to own a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN, his favorite place to travel to. He was fondly known as "Nike Man", "Cupcake Man", "Little John", and "Johnny Boy". John was the life of the party, a comedian, and lived his life to the fullest.

Friends and family will be received from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, November 26th, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, where services will begin at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's honor to the Kidney Cancer Association and Hospice of Cincinnati.
