WWII U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran was shot down over Germany and was a POW in a German prison camp for nine months. John graduated from the University of Kansas with a Metallurgical Degree and was an avid Jayhawks fan. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Company and later AK Steel from which he retired in 1987. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18 at 11 AM at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Rd., Cincinnati 45249, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service.
