John Lee Butcher Jr. of Batavia, OH. Born on March 7, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH. Entered into Eternal Rest on September 22, 2019 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Dorothy L. (nee Shambaugh) Butcher. Loving father of John Lee (Barb Windsor) Butcher III, Tonya (Phillip Vandy) Butcher, Kevin Lee (Sherri) Butcher and Kimberly (late Billie) Young. Caring grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill Wolf, Jeffery Wolf, Bonnie Gibson and the late Shirley Thompson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. John proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Friends will be received from 11 AM - 1 PM on Wednesday, September 25 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 1PM. Interment with military honors, Graceland Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made in memory of John Lee Butcher Jr. to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Fr.
