Loving husband for over 56 years to Norma Stinson Pirtle. Devoted father of Linda (Mark) Baron, George Michael (Janice) Pirtle, Beth (Michael) Frazer, and Stephen Carl Pirtle. Proud grandpa of Lara, and Matthew Baron, Kristina, Lindsay, and Clinton Pirtle. Dear brother James Lee Pirtle, Paul Edward Pirtle, and the late Harold Richard Pirtle. John joined the militay at a very young age.
