John Begalke, born on May 6, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, and passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

John attended Ohio University, and proudly served in Vietnam. He retired from a thirty-year career at AT&T, as a microwave engineer. John enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, gardening, and reading.

He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Begalke; proud father of John Begalke and Courtney (Crawhorn); loving grandfather of Sydney Fannin, and Chandler Viox; dear brother of Ed ( Fran) Begalke; uncle to many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 3 at the American Legion Post 256, 897 Oakland Rd., Loveland. The SW Ohio VFW Memorial Team will honor John's services to our country in the US Army. Chaplain Larry Fannin officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donating to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
