BAMBER John, 81, of Mason, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Hazel (nee Vandever). He was survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Ruth Ann (nee Waschler) Bamber, his loving daughter Kathleen Becker and cherished grandchildren Rachel and Adam Becker. Also, preceded in death by his brother Paul (Cindy) Bamber. Born in Cincinnati, John was the former owner and operator of Bamber Funeral Home in East Walnut Hills. John was also the Past Master of the Cincinnati-Lafayette Lodge #483. He was a 50 plus year member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Syrian Shrine Band and Court #7 Royal Order of Jesters. Services will be held on Friday, October 22 at 11 AM at the Mason United Methodist Church, 6315 Mason Montgomery Rd., Mason, where friends and family will be received from 10 AM until the hour of service.
