Joe F. Rufner of Loveland, Ohio. Beloved husband of Mildred (nee Wallace) Rufner. Loving father of Judy (Andy) Smith, Jim (Tawnia) Rufner and Joseph (Carrie) Rufner. Proud grandfather of Alexander, Brett, Katie, Solomon, Woodlin and Austen. Dear brother of Carol (Len) Ghearing and the late Don Rufner. Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018 at the age of 88. A 1954 Graduate of The Ohio State University Navy ROTC, Joe served in the Navy from 1949-1958 and was a proud US Navy Korean War Veteran. In 1958, he married his wife, Mildred, of 60 years. Joe was an Accountant with Battelle & Battelle in Dayton, Ohio. After earning his CPA in 1968, he went on to work for C.J. Krehbiel Co., where he retired in 1996. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 12 at 11 AM at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249, where friends will be received from 10:30 AM until time of service.
