Joda Mae (nee Watkins) of Blanchester, OH. Born on December 29, 1927 in Seco, KY. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 22, 2020 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Eli Zion Nelson Sr. Devoted mother of Gene (Donna) Nelson, Loma Carol (Bob) West, Hattie Darlene (Daniel) Watson, Eli "Chip" (Charla) Nelson Jr. and the late Roger Nelson. Mother-in-law of Carol Jean Nelson. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Benny Wethington, Ann Skinner, Audell Phelps and the late Joe Rae Watkins, Charlena Fields and Charles Wethington. Cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Charlotte (nee Fields) Watkins and the late Martha Watkins. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Friends will be received from 10 AM - 11 AM on Monday, December 28 at the House of Restoration, 1487 St. Rt. 131, Milford, where services will begin at 11 AM. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of your choice.
