Joanne Loretta (nee Hucke) Jones of Loveland, OH. Passed peacefully on January 6, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on April 12, 1937, in Cincinnati, OH.

Beloved wife of the late William Edward Jones. Loving mother of Daniel (late Brenda) Jones, Monica Jones, Paige (John) Reis, Erin (Fred) Gatch, Dana Jones, Kent (Lesa) Jones and the late Corliss Menke. Caring grandmother of Amy, Jimmy, Tanya, Daniel, Dana, Lauren, Nikki, Alaric, Gaige, Caitlin, Jeff, Kelli, and Brooke. Proud great-grandmother of Brendan, William, Erinn, Morgan, Ryan, Nathan, Jordyn, Daniel, Griffin, Brooklyn, Silas, Remington, Everett and Wrenlyn. Dear sister of the late Janet Wainright, Shirley Hausfeld and Eugene Hucke. Cherished daughter of the late Eric and Loretta (nee Arnold) Hucke. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends and fishermen.

Joanne graduated from Western Hills High School in 1955 where she was a member and journalist for the school newspaper. She wrote and left her family a treasury of poetry. Joanne was owner/operator of Cedar Lake and Midwest Cedar Fish Farm for over 56 years. In 1984, Joanne was nominated as hero of Clermont County for donating her kidney to her brother. Joanne was nurturing to everyone she met and was known as mother and grandmother to many of her customers.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, January 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be at 10 AM on Friday, January 12.

Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
