Joann (nee Schildmeyer) Raga was born February 5, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH to Joseph and Hulda Schildmeyer. Growing up in Pleasant Ridge and Blue Ash she graduated from Sycamore High School, the University of Cincinnati and then married Joe Raga in 1960. She lived an active life centered on family and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Kenwood. In their retirement, Joann and Joe spent annual happy winters in Destin, Florida making many friends and visiting family. Joann is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe; her parents; her sisters Patty Stephenson, Betty Bertke, and her older brothers Dick Schildmeyer and Bob Schildmeyer.

Joann leaves to cherish her memories as a loving mother and mother-in-law of Thomas and Jean Raga and as grandmother (Nana) to Colleen Raga and Rick Raga; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
