Joan (nee Scherpenberg) devoted wife of the late Fleming C. Walker, daughter of the late Mary (Mattscheck) and Theodore H. Scherpenberg, sister of Theodore A. (Marian) Scherpenberg, Mary Agnes (William) Wanamaker, Catherine Scherpenberg, the late Sister Juliann Scherpenberg O.S.F, Dorothy Scherpenberg, and step-daughters Alice Diane Walker and Susan (Richard) Thompson, step-granddaughter Cara Vazquez also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, passed away June 27, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude Church, Tuesday, July 01, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment following a memorial Mass at Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida.
