Joan LaDawn (nee Heaton) Elmore of Loveland. Beloved wife of the late Franklin Elmore. Loving mother of Melody (the late Juan) Rivera, Steven Elmore, Beverly (Ron) Riley, Franklin Elmore, Eric Elmore and the late Geanie Meadors and Frankie Lynn Hill. Cherished grandmother of Charmaine, Linda, Jeremy, Rebecca, Nestor, Patrick, Rachel, April, Lillian, Billy, Anna, Brianna and the late Jessica. Great grandmother of 22 and great great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Roger Heaton (deceased), George Heaton, Gerry Heaton (deceased) (Portia) and Donna (Fred) Wolfe. Passed away August 23, 2021 at the age of 90. Joan was very well grounded and open-minded. You could talk to her about anything. She was an avid rock collector and had an immense love of any animal. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 2 from 10-11 AM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will follow at 11 AM.
