Mrs. Joan Davidson, daughter of the late Tracy and Princess Jones, was born October 5, 1930 in Huntington, West Virginia. She attended Huntington East High School and Marshall University. She married Carroll Davidson and remained in Huntington where she raised four daughters and enjoyed playing golf. Joan and Carroll retired to Fairfield Glade, Crossville, Tennessee in 1986 where they continued to play golf and attend Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. Joan was the beloved mother of Traci (Ed) Foster, Kim (Doug) Smith, Jodi (Frank) Herndon, and Jill (Cees) van de Mortel. Proud grandmother of Jen (Nick) Kenien, Katie (Chris) Uhler, Maggie Foster, Paige Smith, Davis Herndon, Libby Herndon, and Nol van de Mortel. Cherished great grandmother of Ben, Nathan, Emma & Ellie Kenien. Dear sister of Max Mays, George Jones, and the late Bob Mays. Passed away July 27, 2018 at the age of 87. No services will be held.
