Obituary

Joan Clark, born Joan Faye Lusk on August 1, 1931 to Charles and Minnie Lusk of Cincinnati, Ohio, lived for other people. She was a woman with a passion for service to others, working as an assistant teacher at both Chase and Winton Place elementary schools, where she was loved by the children in the classrooms. She knew no strangers, and had a kind word and a smile for everyone she encountered. She went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2016, after a brief illness. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and leaves behind a still growing family. Joan was preceded in death by her mother and father, nine siblings, and her son, Dennis H. Clark. Her legacy lives on with her son, Ken Clark, and his wife Gail of Port St. Richey, FL; her son, Greg Clark, and wife Melinda, of Cincinnati OH; her daughter, Kimberly Gabriel of Charleston SC; her daughter Becky Cunagin of Mason OH; and her son Scott Clark of Campbellsville KY, as well as 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at Life Change Church, located at 4359 E. Bauman Lane, Batavia Ohio on December 27, 2016 from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either The Salvation Army or Hospice of Cincinnati.
