Jimmy "Jim" Roy Chess of Goshen, Ohio, was received into Heaven on December 23, 2014. He was born on June 16, 1962, in Lima, Ohio to Jimmie (deceased) and Anna "Ann" (nee Ulrich) Chess. He was a wonderful, loving, calm, caring husband of Linda (nee Klosterman) Chess. Jim was a patient, wise, understanding, kind dad to Alisha and Zachary Chess. He was a great older brother to Jerry L. Chess (fianc, Christine Nuebauer). Jim also had a mother-in-law, several aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers that cared for him. He will be truly missed by many. Jim graduated from Bath High school, in Lima, Ohio. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Electrical Engineering in 1985. Jim was an employee of Northrop Grumman for 20 years. He was a dedicated Electrical Engineer manager and was well respected, informative, and a calming presence on many projects. Jim loved to travel on family vacations. He was well known to 'trip advise' great places to eat. He also enjoyed golfing and golf trips with his many buddies. Jim loved sports, especially the Bengals, Reds, U.C., Purdue, and Virginia Tech. Jim's family and friends will be received for visitation, Monday December 29, 2014 from 10am-12pm, at House of Restoration, 1487 St. Rt. 131, Milford, Ohio, 45150. Funeral service to follow at NOON. Interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery.
