Jimmie Morton of Goshen, OH, went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2025, at the age of 85. Jimmie was born on February 8, 1940, in Whitesburg, KY to Millard and Claire Morton.

He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Jean (nee Steele) Morton, loving father of Faith Cotterman, Deborah (Fairless) Collins and Tina (Robert) McNeil, caring grandfather of Casey Colyer, Steven (Candy) Caudill, Philip (Mashawna) Caudill, Adam Caudill and John McNeil, proud great-grandfather of 18 great-grandchildren, dear brother of the late Dempsy Morton, Elmo Morton and Don Morton, cherished son of the late Millard and Claire (nee Hall) Morton, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Jimmie retired from General Motors. He was a member of Melrose Masonic Lodge No. 671, Norwood, OH. He was a faithful member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Blanchester.

Friends will be received from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, August 4 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 5. The burial will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
