Jimmie "Jim" Chumbley of Blue Ash, beloved husband of 46 years to Deedra "Dee" Chumbley, loving father of Chris (Christina) Chumbley, Lisa (Jeff) Fackler, Todd (Lesleigh) Chumbley, and Emily (Seth) Thitoff, and treasured grandfather of Sophie, Samantha, Meara, Rhys, Callen, Jovie, and Rylie, passed away on July 31, 2024 at the age of 79. Jim was born in Danville, KY. and was the cherished son of the late Arnold and Edna Chumbley. He proudly served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the US Postal Service in 2007. Jim was an avid sports lover throughout his life and was inducted in to the Sycamore High School Hall of Fame in 2016 for his prominent skills in baseball, football, and basketball. Jim was a man of few words, but always told his kids, grandkids, and all those who were closest to him: "If you need me, call me" which will forever be engrained in our hearts and practiced through thoughts and prayers.

A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17th at the Blue Ash Civic League, 9306 Towne Square Ave. Blue Ash, OH 45242. Family, friends, and anyone wanting to pay respect can visit between 11 AM - 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the Cincinnati Center for Autism.
