James "Jim" Chezem of Loveland, OH passed away December 29, 2023, at age 76 ending his long battle with COPD.

Jim is survived by his wife Jorjann, daughters Julie (Jeff) and Jane Alynn (Matt), sons Kyle (Ashley) and Zachary, and grandchildren Katie, Clayton, Harvey, Liam, and a granddaughter on the way. Jim was preceded in death by his sister Jackie and his first wife Joan.

Jim grew up in Frankfort, IN and studied engineering at Purdue University where he met Joan. Jim and Joan raised their daughters Julie and Jane in Cincinnati. Jim had a long career at Proctor & Gamble that included many Kings Island Dividend Days and a brief stint as a Blues Brother. Jim and Jorjann married in 2005 and raised their sons Kyle and Zachary in Loveland. They have enjoyed watching their family grow, adding 5 grandchildren.

Jim loved leaning on kitchen counters, sugar cream pie, the edge pieces of thin crust pizzas cut into squares, the Indy 500, Neil Diamond, and telling mildly inappropriate stories. Baboo will be missed.

Friends and family will be received January 21, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH, where a service will begin at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cincinnati Alcoholics Anonymous .
