Jewel Dean Miller, 80, of Blanchester, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2017. Born on June 13, 1937 in Alva, Kentucky, daughter of James Payne and Cleo Payne-Pfaff. She was the beloved mother of Linda Ortlieb, Ralph "Mike" (Tena) Miller, and Robert "Bob" Miller; loving grandmother of Richard Moore, Trisha Ortlieb, Michael Miller, Stephany Miller, and Matthew Miller; proud grandmother of Hannah Ayala, Taylor Dick, Shannen Moore, Faith Miller, Christian Miller, MJ Miller, and Noah Miller; great-great-grandmother of Haven Ayala, Marshall Dick and Miles Dick; dear sister of Velma Durham, Lois Collier, Fern Hodges, Mary Jane Pope, James Payne and Roger Pfaff. Along with her parents, Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Miller. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 12pm until the time of service. Interment will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Baltimore Pike Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
