Jerry Thomas Reel was born May 26, 1939 to David and Adaline Marie (nee Spriggs) Reel and passed away February 28, 2017 at the age 77. Jerry was a retired Army Veteran receiving a Purple Heart, worked at Cincinnati Milacron and enjoyed hunting, fishing and his grandchildren. He was also Cub Master in the late 70's and early 80's. He is survived by his wife Nina (nee Cox) Reel; Children, Marie Akers, Wayne Reel and Tahonee Reel; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bill Reel; a daughter, Bettya Reel; a grandson, Wayne Reel Jr.; sisters, Betty Jardell, Bernice Pescho and Delores Clark; a brother David Reel. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday March 2, 2017 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will be held on Friday March 3, 2017 at 1 PM. Interment Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
