Gerald "Jerry" Lewis Shults Jr., of Cincinnati, OH., rode his Harley home to be with Jesus on June 9, 2025, at the age of 64. Jerry was born on March 25, 1961, in Elgin, IL. to Gerald and Margaret Shults.

Jerry was a 1979 graduate of Irving Crown High School in Carpentersville, IL. He received his bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration. He worked at St. Elizabeth Health Care as Director of Quality Control of the Lab.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years to Mitzi (nee McCarty) Shults, three sons, Richard (Amber) Sanders, Adam (Nora) Shults and Jason (Heather) Shults, one daughter, Krystle (Damon) Philpot, 14 grandchildren, Conner (Chyane) Shults, Trinity Shults, Lucas, Blake, Ethan and Maddie Shults, Kainen, Noah and Apollo Shults, Elizabeth, Emmalynn and Jackson Sanders, Ashlynn Young and Haydon Cyrus, one great-granddaughter, Charly Shults, sister, Lisa (Rick) Stepson, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Lewis Sr. and A. Margaret (nee Fransen) Shults and two sisters, Elizabeth Shults and Sandra Norling.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, June 14 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 2 PM on Saturday.
