Jerry R. Tomes was born January 10, 1945 to Grady and Gusta (nee Lawrence) Tomes and passed away May 25, 2018 at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Thelma (nee Bryant) Tomes; a son Christopher (Becky) Tomes; grandchildren, Erica Tomes and Robert Tomes; and a sister Jana Forbes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Mae Jones. A gathering will be held on Monday June 4, 2018 from 12-2 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122.
