Jerry Lindsay, age 77, of Morrow, passed away October 20, 2024. Loving father of Ryan (Wendy Suizu) Lindsay, Erin Baas, Jared (Erika) Lindsay and Zach (Molly) Lindsay. Proud grandfather of Colton Lindsay, Violet Lindsay, Lindsay Baas, Colbie Lindsay and Corbin Lindsay. Dear brother of Ernie (Nancy) Lindsay, Keith (Nancy) Lindsay and Dawn Lindsay. Also survived by his best friend, Tommy Goldson. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lindsay; mother, Emily (nee Guth) Lindsay; grandson, Nash Jaxson Lindsay; and sister, Georgia Bergmark.
Jerry enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1964, at the age of 17. He's a Vietnam War Era Veteran, where he was stationed in Udorn, Thailand making liquid oxygen for pilots. His Patriotism didn't end with his military service, as his friends and family can attest. He's a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 256 and VFW Post 5749, as well as being a regular member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles - 3006.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 1 from 2-3 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service at the Loveland American Legion Post 256, 897 Oakland Rd., Loveland, OH 45140.
