Jerry LaRue, died January 18, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his son Rex, daughter-in-law Lynn, granddaughers Chelsea and Elizabeth and great-grandson Rowen. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Betty (Colliver) LaRue. Jerry was the proprietor of Ray's Saddle Shop and Shamrock Laminating. Jerry coached Knothole baseball, youth football and basketball for many years. In his later years he was active in diabetic wound care research and participated in several Civil War symposiums in Cincinnati. He was a member of the St. Paul Village choir, "The Village Voices."
