Jerry Dale Christophel, age 69, of Lynchburg, Ohio. Born on May 22, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio and died on September 13, 2012 in Blanchester, Ohio. Beloved husband of Marcy A. (Hauke) Christophel. Loving father of Mike (Shannon) Christophel of Hillsboro, Ohio, Rosa Christophel of Lynchburg, Ohio and Daisy Christophel of Lynchburg, Ohio. Proud step-father of Jessica Griffith of Hillsboro, Ohio. Caring grandfather of Jacob and Emily Christophel, Vanessa Smith, Rani and Brennan Griffith. Dear brother of Joyce Crawford, Janet Barnes, Cleny "Jeannie" Barnes, Junie Hamm, Evelyn "Babe" Anderson, Nancy "Nue" Gibson, Ciciela Sue Hickey, Vicky Rielly and the late LeRoy "Jake" Christophel. Cherished son of the late Jacob Carroll and Cleny Mae (Kirkendall) Christophel. Devoted nephew of Charles (Helen) Kirkendall. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, many dear friends and family dogs. Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 18, 5 pm to 8 pm, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, where services will be on Wednesday, September 19, at 11 AM.
