Jerome D. Smith, 82, of Lynchburg, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He proudly served his country in United States Air Force for 5 years. Jerome had been retired for 30 years and enjoyed spending his time camping. He was a member of the Northern Brown County Seniors.

He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Mills) Smith; proud father of Kim (Tim) Wolf and Kevin (Jennifer) Smith; loving grandfather of Tim (D'Dra) Wolf, Jr., Joshua Wolf, Nathaniel (Hannah) Smith, Brady Smith, and Landon Smith; great-grandfather of Savannah Wolf, Jesse Wolf, Brystol Bailey, Kyndol Wolf, and Bo Wolf; dear brother of Steve (Linda) Smith; uncle of Chris (Leah) Smith and Matt (Michelle) Smith.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome (Ruth) Smith and Marie Smith.

Friends will be received from 6-8pm on September 8, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester.

Interment will take place at 9am on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the  Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
