Jerome "Jerry" Lee Dillon of Loveland, OH, went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2025, at the age of 73. Jerry was born on July 31, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH to Stanley and Laverne Dillon.
Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Loveland High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years as a Gunnery Sergeant and served during Desert Storm. While in the Marine Corps, Jerry and his wife Tina traveled to many places in the world. Jerry later worked at the Loveland Post Office for 15 years. He also worked at Eastgate Lanes as a Bartender and League Coordinator. He was very passionate about sports, especially bowling and softball. He was also an avid fisherman. Jerry had a very good sense of humor and was a prankster, often throwing fireworks at Tina.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years to Christina "Tina" (nee Fultz) Dillon, sister-in-law, Lorraine Dillon and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley W. and Laverne M. (nee Wellbrock) Dillon, two brothers, Stanley W. Dillon II, James "Jim" M. Dillon (twin brother), one sister, Gail Doyle and two nieces, Lori and Stephanie.
Friends will be received from 6 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 28 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will take place at 1 PM on Thursday, May 29.
Interment with Marine Corps Honors will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens on Thursday.
