We are sad to announce the passing of Jeffrey Michael Nelson of Cincinnati, OH. Passing at the age of 73 on September 13, 2023. Jeff passed away surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with lung cancer. He leaves behind his wife Shelly (nee McDonough) Nelson of 49 years and his three children Stacy, Joey and Jeff. Proud grandfather of Brooklyn, Brogan and Colton. Cherished uncle to several nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Kenny and Kim Wilson, Britt and Laura Saylor, Steve and Diane McDonough and the late Paula and Harry Hamilton. Also survived by his twin brother Jim and his wife Lynn Nelson and his best friend Jerry Hayes, and for all the good times I shared with the McDonough's, the Forney's, and the Wilson's.

Jeff served in the US Navy from 1968-1972. He retired as a Sargent from the Hamilton Co. Sheriff's Department for 28 years. To know him was to love him, his laughter and his smile. Jeff loved family time and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 24 from 5-7 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM.
