IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey L.
Horner
March 24, 1969 – October 20, 2025
Jeffrey L. Horner, age 56, of Cincinnati, passed away suddenly on October 20, 2025. Beloved son of Barbara (nee Rotsching) and the late Jack L. Horner. Cherished father of Jonathan (Holly) Horner, Haley (Nick) Minich, Michael (Emily) Horner and Jeffrey J. Horner. Proud grandfather of Oliver Horner and Myles Minich. Loving brother of Jill (Darren) Greene and Jack Horner. Also survived by his life partner, Paige von Hoffmann, as well as many nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives.
If you ever met Jeff Horner, you probably laughed within the first five minutes — and then wondered how one person could hold so much knowledge about Cincinnati sports, movie quotes, and the quirkiest bits of trivia imaginable. Jeff had that rare gift of making every room lighter, every story better, and every person feel like they belonged in it.
A proud 1987 Moeller High School graduate, Jeff found his rhythm early helping with the basketball team — and that love of the game only grew. At the University of Cincinnati, he became Manager for the Bearcat basketball team, celebrating their unforgettable 1992 Final Four run. From that point on, "Bearcat for life" wasn't just a phrase — it was a calling. He carried that same devotion to the Bengals, FC Cincinnati, and any competition that brought people together.
Professionally, Jeff's curiosity and creativity led him down several paths — from pioneering a vehicle marketing app before its time, to reinventing himself as a Realtor and building The LIVIN' IN CIN Experience with his business (& life) partner. He approached real estate with the same humor, loyalty, and heart he gave to everything else, quickly earning a reputation as both a sharp businessman and a truly caring human being.
But the titles he cherished most were Dad, Grandpa, Brother, and Son. Jeff's four children and two grandchildren were his pride, his purpose, and his favorite topic of conversation. He showed up — to games, concerts, great days, hard days, and everything in between. His love was quiet; it was genuine, thoughtful, funny, reliable, and just plain endless.
Jeff was many things — a leader, a storyteller, a problem-solver and sometimes a goofball — but above all, he was love in motion. His wry smile, his warmth, his quick wit and his giant heart will echo through everyone lucky enough to have known and loved him.
