Jeannette Mertes (nee Godbold), age 98, passed away December 11, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Val J. Mertes. Loving mother of Michael Mertes (deceased) and Marsha George (the late Brad). Cherished grandmother of Breanne Brusman (Scot), Erin Prindiville and Theresa George. Great-grandmother of Michael and the late Megan and Madison Brusman. Longtime resident of Loveland and active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249, where friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
