Jeanene Vanlandingham (nee Hoover) devoted wife of the late Hays "Bud" Vanlandingham, Jr for 43 years (1997), beloved mother of Phillip (Jeni) Vanlandingham and Michael Vanlandingham. Passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. Jeanene was the adoring grandmother of Jaclyn Ard, David (Nina) Vanlandingham, Andrew Vanlandingham, Sara (Brian) Porter, and Mary (Cory Lane). Loving great-grandmother of Annalise, Jackson, Calvin, Liz, Teddy, Ben, Emma, Savannah, Eliza and Noah.

Jeanene was born in Glasco, KY to her beloved mother Jewel Hoover, and father, J. Less Hoover, who preceded her in death. Also preceded by in-laws, Hays Sr & Hazel Vanlandingham, 12 brothers & sisters in law, her precious Aunt Helen Vincent, Uncle Wendall Foster and loving sisters, Lucy Kunze (late Ralph), and Soni Brown (late Claude). Jeanene is survived by her sweet identical twin sister, Jerrine Robertson (late Charles) of Evansville, IN, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jeanene was a homemaker who loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. A devoted Christian, she spent numerous years teaching Children's Sunday School, singing in church choirs and leading a nursing home ministry at the Batavia Nursing Home with her late husband, Hays.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29 at the Loveland Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation at noon with service beginning at 1PM. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford.
