Jay L Boys, of Cincinnati, passed away on Monday, September 8, at the age of 52 after battling an illness over the past year. Jay and his wife, Robin Wagner, were married in February of this year. Jay was the loving father of Destiny Bianchi Boys, and Joshua Boys ( Megan ), of Plant City, Florida, and became a first- time grandfather to Parker Boys on September 2, 2014. Brother of Jennifer Pondel and Jayne Cannon. Beloved son of the late James L Boys and Carolyn Boys. Jay was originally from Kokomo, Indiana, and lived for many years in Indianapolis, as well as Plant City, Florida. He was a professional chef his entire life. In 2008 he moved to Cincinnati to work for City Gospel Mission as their chef and kitchen manager, providing meals and working with the homeless as well as the men in their drug and alcohol recovery program. A Celebration of Life service for Jay will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 1 PM with a reception immediately following at Gwen Mooney Funeral Home Tri-County, 11285 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246.
