IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason D.
Broughton
December 10, 2000 – August 25, 2024
Jason D. Broughton, age 23, of Amelia. Cherished son of Crystal Broughton. Beloved grandson of his Papa, Charles Broughton (deceased) and his Granny, Christine Broughton; dear nephew of Randy (Tara) Broughton. Dearest great-nephew of Bonnie Fazio, Brenda Martin, Albert Broughton, Franklin Broughton, Betty Owens, Verna Horton, Phyllis Parks, Flo Bright, Curtis Broughton, Al Broughton, Pauline Payne and the late Nadine Mills, Norma Lemaster, Jerry Broughton, and Bobby Broughton. Also survived by many cousins. Passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024.
Only God Himself could accurately describe who Jason "The Boy" truly was. There are no words here on this earth, sufficient to portray the humility, kindness, and pureness of his heart. When he came into this life his family knew he was different; he was unlike others and often questioned the wickedness of the world. He was wise, creative, a gamer who loved to read, and draw. As a young child, he was asked why he did not trick-or-treat, and responded "mom, you told me never to talk to strangers, but now you want me to knock on doors and ask people for candy when we can go to the store and buy our own". Jason had the ability to make those closest to him strive to be a better person, but his heart became troubled, and his pain became unbearable. Although he wanted to live, he also yearned for peace here on earth he could not find. He believed in the Lord, and now he is reunited with his papa who he could not live without. He has gone home and now walking with Jesus; "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". Jasons troubles are over, but his belief in God, and with Gods promise Jason will never perish, but now has everlasting life. Granny, your family, and I love you my dear sweet son.
