HALE Janis Sue, lovingly known by her family as "Mimi" passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She attained the age of 73. Janis was born in Harlan County, KY on June 9, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Ethel Browning Siler. She was later united in marriage to Darwin Marlow Hale, who passed away on May 16, 1995. To this union was born two daughters; Deborah Setser and her husband Audie of Deer Park, OH, Pam Phelps and her husband Scott of Somerset, KY. Janis is survived by her four grandchildren; Christopher Phelps, Ashley Whitaker, Tiffany Setser, Russell and Nicholas Setser. Janis is survived by one brother James Siler of Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving are her gran dogs; Maverick, Abby, Bear, Marlow and Hope. Preceding Janis in death other than her parents, her husband, the following brothers; Larry, Morris, Granville and Norman Siler and one sister Wilma Jean McQueen. Janis was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the Seven Hills Chapter #589 Order of the Eastern Star. Was a former embroidery operator at Aratx. She graduated from Norwood High School the Class of 1956.
