Janice Kathleen (nee Bauscher) Schwartz of Milford, OH, passed on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Jan was born on January 22, 1943, to the late Charles and Ruth (nee Rottinghaus) Bauscher.

Jan married the love of her life, Ronald Schwartz on Nov. 16, 1963. They were blessed with 62 years of marriage and three children: Todd Schwartz, Rodney Schwartz, and Jennifer (Chris) English; two grandchildren: Lindsey (Drew) Tricase, Rebecca (Sean) Mott, and many great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Pauline McCarthy, “Sis” Ellison, and the late Joan Schmale and Jerry Bauscher.

Jan was always there for her children and family, always wanting the very best for them. She never changed — throughout her life, she remained the same beautiful and wonderful person, a steady rock for her family.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 6 pm - 8 pm at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 27, 2026, at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, OH.
