Loving mother of Jeremy Douglas Batterson, cherished daughter of James and Joyce Mullikin, and beloved sister of John Mullikin and Cathy A. Blanton. Also survived by nieces and nephews; Ryan Blanton, Jennifer Blanton and Ashley Mullikin. Janet's life was devoted to raising a wonderful, happy, and loving son. She placed her priorities on motherhood. Janet graduated from Raymond Walters College, and was instrumental in placing new guidelines and procedures in her position as a microbiologist with KAO Brands. Janet fought a hard battle with cancer for 8 years with quiet dignity. She looked forward to an end with the struggle and the Lord answered her prayers and took her home with Him on July 23.
