Janet F. Gittinger (nee Farmer). Beloved wife of 63 years to Robert Gittinger. Loving mother of Steven (Ronnia) Gittinger of Milford and William (Evelyn) Gittinger of Scottsdale, AZ. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Gittinger, Tim Banks, Jessica Holland, Logan, Brad and David Gittinger. Great grandmother of Zach, Craig and Fiona. Sister of Mary Herbert and the late Gerea Sobel and Virginia Kaiser. Passed away March 30, 2016 at the age of 86. Member of the Montgomery Women's Club for over 40 years and Sunrise Landing Garden Club. Played for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and taught classes at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Loved to bake cookies with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 11 at 11 AM with a luncheon to follow at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Rd., Cincinnati 45249.
