Janet Barnes of Loveland, OH, passed away February 23, 2026, at the age of 70. Beloved wife of 40 years to Fred Barnes. Devoted mother of Rachael (Patrick) Angel, Ellen (Alex) Irvine, the late Wayne Reimers, and the late Roberta (Chris) Horan. Cherished grandmother of Madelyn Angel, Riley Angel, Abigail Angel, Aiden Horan, Samantha Horan, and Deron Horan. Caring great-grandmother of Reese Horan. Dear sister of Drew (Michelle) Macke, Paul (Nancy) Macke, Rusty (Cindy) Macke, Nancy (Ted) Oldiges, Joe (Libbey) Macke, Connie Fryman, Bob Macke, Tom (Susan) Macke, Mike (Lynn) Macke, and the late Julie (Dick) McAfee. Daughter of the late Robert and Elvera Macke.

Family and friends will be received Monday, March 9, 2026, from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Rd, Loveland, OH 45140, where a Mass for Janet will begin at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory may be directed to Light the Night.
