Jane Gale Ponchot (nee Campbell), 60, of Milford, Ohio, passed away on June 16, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 24, 1963, in Hamilton, Ohio.

She was the beloved mother of Darci Jane Ponchot; dear daughter of Ruth Ann Liming (nee Hughes); loving sister of Melody (Duane) Campbell Goettemoeller and Suzanne (Mark Roosa) Campbell; stepsister of Scott (Carol) Liming; daughter-in-law of Sharon Ponchot; proud aunt of numerous nieces and nephews; she also leaves behind several cousins and close friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Shaun Edward Ponchot; father, Edward Lewis Campbell; stepbrother, John Mark Liming and father-in-law, Bill Ponchot.

Jane completed her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati where she developed a passion for helping children with hearing loss. She worked in the Clermont County school system for nearly 30 years, keeping in touch with her students and their families as they graduated and even after she retired. Jane was also a devout Christian who relied on her faith in God constantly and admirably, even during her long fight with cancer.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer-Goshen.

Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, Ohio.
