Jane (nee Stuminski) Huy, beloved wife of 70 years to the late Edward E Huy, devoted mother of Lynne (Tom) Quade, Janice Huy and Connie Huy, grandmother to Katie (Luke) Vocke, Jennifer (Mike) Lierer, Scott (Katrina) Huy, Steven (Veronica) Huy, Sophie, and greatgrandmother to 7. She died peacefully on July 22, 2025, having reached the noteworthy age of 99.

Jane was born to William and Gertrude (nee Farwick) Stuminski in June 1926. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Carl Raymond Stuminski and her first husband, Walter Wise. She graduated from a technical high school in Cincinnati and worked at the American Can Company. In 1951, she married Ed and together they purchased Groesbeck Pharmacy. In its early years she served as the pharmacy's bookkeeper. Jane was a typical mom to her daughters, serving as Girl Scout Troop Leader, volunteering in the school cafeteria, and driving her girls to various activities. As a grandmother, she hand sewed wedding quilts for both of her granddaughters and helped raise her two grandsons, often flying around the country to be with them.

Jane and Ed moved to Georgetown Kentucky in 1974 where she became involved in St. John Church, serving as secretary for many years. Her various hobbies included reading, quilting, canning vegetables from their garden and decorating for Christmas. Her favorite holiday activity was baking Christmas cookies. She had a knack for flower arranging which she inherited from her father, and had a green thumb for growing various house and yard flowers. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends at St. Columban and Magnolia Springs Loveland.

Family and friends will be received from 10:45-11:15 AM on Tuesday, July 29 at St.Columban Catholic Church 894 Oakland Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. Interment St. James Cemetery.
