Jane Frances (Pangburn) Howland of Pleasant Plain, OH. Born on July 26, 1922 in Ripley, OH. Went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Arch Howland. Loving mother of Donald (Joyce) Howland, Marilyn (late Tim) Hodges, Thomas (Linda) Howland, Ronald (Carol) Howland and John (Margaret) Howland. Caring grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Jack and Everett Pangburn. Cherished daughter of the late Robert E. and Leitch (Carr) Pangburn.
Jane was a rural carrier for the US Post Office for 31 years, a member of Pleasant Plain Town Council for 50 yrs., a member of the Harlan TWP Fire & Rescue for 33 yrs., proudly was an elder for many years at Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church and worked as an aide for Goshen Local Schools.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, 5 - 8 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 10 AM at Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church, 10198 St. Rt. 132.
Interment, Linwood Cemetery, Russellville, OH.
