The Rev. Dr. James N. Westpfahl of Loveland, Ohio passed away February 2, 2012 at age 77. Former pastor of The Old Stone Church in Rockton, Illinois for 20 years. Also pastored in Rockfield, Wisconsin; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Congregational son of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He graduated from Mission House Seminary in Plymouth, Wisconsin. He received his Doctor of Ministry from the University of Dubuque (Iowa) Theological Seminary. Beloved husband of Lois M. (nee Anger) Westpfahl. Loving father of Terry Lynn (Christopher) Guay. Proud grandfather of Andrew Christopher Guay and Lisa Marie Guay. Dear brother of Carol (Don) VanEngen, Grace (Dave) Reinecke, and the late Janice Schomberg. Cherished uncle of eight nieces and nephews. Devoted son of the late Arthur and Emily Westpfahl. Family and friends will be received from 12-1 PM on Monday, February 6 at Lakeview United Church of Christ, 8639 Columbia Rd, Maineville, OH 45039, where services will be held at 1 PM. Burial will be held at a later date. Donations may be directed to Lakeview United Church of Christ.
