James Bryan Vest of Springfield, OH passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2026 at the age of 55.

He was born on November 30, 1970 to Pamela Huffman and James E. Vest.

James lived a life full of stories, experiences, passions, and friends and family. He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, a person who was always ready to be there for others.

He was preceded in death by his father, James

E. Vest, and Robert Perkins; sisters Lani Jo Hacker and Leslie Flosnaught, and granddaughter Gracie Vest.

He is survived by his children, Allen (Casee) Vest, Jordan (Blake) Williams, Finnick Vest, Jamie Vest, Bradyn Vest, and Carter Vest; his grandchildren, Veda, Blake, Kaiden, Ava, and Mac; his girlfriend, Sam Riddle; his mother, Rvena Perkins; his siblings, Tracy Perkins, Rodney Perkins, Josh Miller, Anita Vest, Gail Perkins (David) Hughes, and Tina Perkins, and his brother-in-law, Roy Hacker.

He will also be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 8 from 4-6 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held at 6 PM.
