James Timothy of Loveland, OH. Beloved husband of Mariclare (nee Costigan) Daughton. Loving father of Samantha (Toby) Smolinski and Timothy (Jessica Burke) Daughton. Dear Grandfather of Will Smolinski, Sophia Smolinski, Jacob Smolinski and Charlottle Burke. Passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the age of 72. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th at his daughter's residence, located at 7285 Laurel Oak Lane Cincinnati, Ohio 45237 from 4 to 7 PM. A private Celebration of Life service will take place January 11, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Tim's memory be directed to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 or online at DAV.org. Tim was born in Trenton, NJ to James and Miriam (nee Meskill) Daughton on October 30, 1947. He graduated from Bishop Eagan High School. He joined the Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer, hunter and restauranteur, and in his retirement, a devoted volunteer at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. He celebrated 47 years of marriage this past November. He will be greatly missed.
