Obituary

James (Shot Gun)Cannon, 52, of Bailey, Colorado, passed gracefully Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the home he lovingly built. Jim was a 10 year brain tumor survivor, custom home and cabinetry builder, Reiki Master, man who loved the earth, children, and all creatures. Originally from Ohio/Indiana area, Jim and his wife moved to the beautiful Rocky Mountains in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Colleen O'Brien, Mother, Vivian Stuckey Bryant of Loveland, Oh., Brothers Randy Bryant (Loveland, OH) and Orion Cannon (Austin, TX), Uncle, Dennis Stuckey (San Antonio,TX), brother in spirit, Mike O'Brien (Bailey, CO), and many in-laws and children that loved him. Jim's life will be celebrated at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland Saturday April 26 – the spring equinox- at 6:00pm followed by a reception at the Richardson House at the Greater Loveland Historical Society Museum. Family request that memorial contributions in memory of Jim be directed to The National Brain Tumor Foundation Denver Angel Walk at www.firstgiving.com/ptjim or checks can also be made out to NBTF and given to Jim's wife prior to the June 7th, 2008 fundraising walk.
