James R. of Landen, OH, formerly of Warren, MI and Sandusky, OH. Husband of Patricia (nee Gilbert) Shock. Father of Victoria Patrice, Douglas James, and Kathleen Elizabeth. Grandfather of Dylan, Levi, and Alexandra. A tribute to his life and accomplishments will be held in Akron, OH at a later date. He was a graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Jim served in the US Army, both in Germany and Japan where he received 2 Bronze Stars. He joined General Motors and worked as a Plant Engineer at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI, where he retired after 40 years of service. Jim was an Airship Historian and Author of numerous books about the subject.
