James "Jim" Napier, age 82, passed away in death December 1, 2014 at Bethesda North Medical Center in Cincinnati Ohio. Born April 6th, 1932 he lived most of his life in small towns surrounding the Cincinnati area. For the past several years he lived in Sardina, Ohio Jim served in the Korean War and later worked and retired from Cincinnati Transit Company. He also owned and operated a tack shop in Loveland Ohio. He had many hobbies he enjoyed during his retirement. He would spend time playing the banjo, caring for his horses, hand tooling saddles, collecting antiques and repairing clocks. If not busy with these hobbies, Jim could be found walking in nature with his dog, Freddie, an enormous Blood Hound. He loved the peacefulness of animals and the outdoors. Jim was truly the kind of man who would stop and smell the roses. He was gentle natured and easy to talk to. His warmth and kindness will always be remembered.
Survivors include his three daughters, Deniece, Donna and Debby and his longtime companion, Marcella Henson. His daughters, Deniece Keller of Orlando Florida, Donna and her husband Steve Berry of St. Cloud Florida, and Debby and her husband Grant Boggs of Morrow Ohio. Jim had seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chloe and Steve Napier, his brother, Lee Napier and his sister, Opal Lawson. He will be greatly missed by his family. A private service will be held by the family, as well, there will be a Memorial to celebrate his life held in the spring.
