James "Jim" Chandler Mullikin of Loveland.  Loving husband of 63 years to the late Joyce Helen Mullikin. Cherished father of Cathy (Ridgely) Pope, John C. Mullikin, and the late Janet Batterson. Proud grandfather of Ryan Blanton, Jennifer Jewell, Jeremy (Vy) Batterson, and Ashley (Danielle) Margeaux. Dear brother of Pat Meece. Passed away June 11, 2024 at the age of 84.

Dad passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 with his loved ones by his bed side after complications from surgery.

He was loved by many and the magnitude of his loss will be felt by everyone who knew him.

I was proud to call you dad and the love you showed to our family was absolutely unconditional.

On February 1st of this year dad lost the love of his life - my mother after 63 years of marriage and as everyone could expect her loss which was very unexpected as well was one of the most difficult times of our lives but for dad her loss hit him the hardest because she was the love of his life and to be honest - I'm not sure he ever recovered from her passing.

He will be missed dearly but with sadness comes Hope!

Dad put his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior some 20 years ago which forever changed his life and with that I have peace and comfort that I will see him again soon.

I can only imagine dad in heaven with Jesus and being reunited with mom and my sister Janet who passed some 15 years ago - what an awesome image that was.

You held me as I entered this world and I held you until you left - until it's my turn to go your memory will live in my heart forever and I thank you for all the life lessons you inspired in me.

With sadness and joy I love you and miss you more than you can imagine already.

Family and friends will be received from 10 AM - 12 PM on Wednesday, June 19 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140, where services will be held at 12 PM.

Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
